I have no experience with either other than a cooler I covered with Sea Dek. It's pretty nice. Don't know if I'm ready to cover my boat with it tho.

I know it’s an older thread but , having aquadek installed in a couple weeks. Had Seadek on the last boat and it was hot as hell plus it faded and shrunk up within a year. Seadek I believe is an open cell EVA and Aquatraction is closed cell. Aquadek “should” be easier to clean. Another reason for putting it on this boat is that every time I wash the boat more gel coat pops off. Sea Pro won’t acknowledge the problem so I’ll cover it up. Lol. The lady that laser measured the whole boat did say that the fit and finish is one of the better ones out of all the boats they had done. In other words hinges , latches , seams are pretty damn straight (her words).

I've just started doing my 170 in Seadek. It's not a custom fit job by them just me cutting from the full sheets. It'll be a fairly basic thing but functional. I just want the and floor covered with something I can go barefoot on.

All of the above installs look great and they look comfy. How do they clean and smell after a few fishing trips?
