I purchased a stripped (theft) SV2100 and have been working over the last couple months (mostly nights only) to get it back together and fix 14 years worth of “things”. Have replaced all the thru hulls and pumps in the bilge area, glasssed over old holes and gelcoated to repair, starting to pull wires for a a complete rewrite, then I’ll be hanging the motor.
I picked up a 2015 Mercury 150 to put on this boat. What mounting hole are you guys typically using?
I use the standard straight edge to make sure the anti-ventilation plate slightly above or at the same level as the bottom of the boat. But would be helpful to know where others are mounted and a starting point and reference.
Thanks all.

Mine's in the third hole from the top. . I'm 99.9% sure all the mounting brackets are universal since my old Yamaha was in the same hole. Good luck with your rebuild. It would be great to see some before and after pictures.
