I really like those lights and have had a set of them behind the grill on my truck for years as daytime running lights so they're on whenever my truck is on. Until now, I've never seen the white ones. They are inexpensive and super bright for their size... so much so that a lot of people think I have my bright lights on. I put one on top of my T-top the other day as a spreader light. ( wish I had known about the white ones). I doubt I'll ever use it but it's there and puts out a lot of light should I ever need it. Didn't think about attracting bugs and the only negative reviews I've read about the lights is that moisture gets inside and causes the LEDs to burn out. Even with the lights mounted behind my grill for years and in the rain, I haven't had that problem since I put a bead of epoxy sealant around the sealed beam prior to mounting them. Great lights imo.

Didn't think about attracting bugs Yeah, one time I made the mistake of turning them on while gator hunting on Lake Eufaula. It took about 40 seconds for my boat to get swarmed. By the time I got the switch cut off I had 3 moths in my beer. They sell that blinker light repair film at the auto parts store, you just cut to fit and decide on yellow or red, and it really cuts back on the bug attraction.
