I usually use sea foam but that was with my mercury and I didn't add anything else but since I bought a boat with a yamaha people have suggested that we use yamalube ring free and not to use sea foam. Do yall think I could mix both these products together or only use one or the other?
We use non ethanol marine grade gas.

Never a good idea to mix. Use one or the other or one then the other. Sea foam is the only snake oil additive that I will say I have seen first hand that definitely works.

I too bought another Yamaha powered boat a couple of days ago. It hadn't been started in over two years, had bad fuel in the tank, water in the separator, and I suspect the carbs were gummed up since it took close to five minutes of choking and cranking before it finally fired off. After pumping all the fuel out of the tank and cleaning the spark plugs, it now starts at the touch of the key but I'll be adding Sea Foam to the fuel today.

What makes you think you need a fuel additive ?, just curious. I don't use either but I wouldn't mix them.
