Any help would be appreciated. Have a 2006 186cc deep v. This has been a decade long problem. Years ago I drilled big holes toward the bow, port and starboard from the bilge. This released a tons of nasty water. However, there is still probably 200lbs or more of water on the port side. If I hit big waves some of the black water will end up in the bilge, also the boat leans hard to port. If I hang way off the starboard side I can get it level. I am hoping for exact locations of where to drill or where to hunt for a drain tube. I would also pay someone who is familiar with the issue to come (west palm beach FL) and get it right. Otherwise a great boat. My Dad got this boat for my brother and I before he passed and we want to keep it and solve this issue once and for all. I'm new on this forum and may not be able to check it easily. Feel free to email or call. Mkirsner@gmail 386-559-8388 Thank you in advance, Mike

Some water may collect on the outside of the stringers, should be drains through the stringers near the transom. Also there should be a drain under the fuel tank running all the way forward, check to see if that is clear and then figure out why you're taking on so much water.

Wow, thats over 25 gallons of water. I'd peek in every access hole with a camera scope and see if I could see what is going on. It has to be a clogged drain, but Phil is right, it's also just as important to find out how that water is getting in there. Is it in the water or on a lift, or on a trailer?

Yeah, sounds like the limber holes are clogged. Those are the holes that are drilled between stringers and bulkheads to allow for drainage of all the compartments to the bilge. You say that you drilled holes "toward the bow from the bilge." Sounds like you drilled through the aft bulkheads only? There will be one or more bulkheads on each side further toward the bow. Your water sounds trapped up there.
Maybe something made a nest years ago under deck and blocked up the limber holes. If you can, maybe you can stick some sort of semi-rigid probe up from the bilge and snake it out, either through the exsting limber holes (ideal) or the ones you drilled. They should be located near the low point of the inner hull.
