So no luck with a inexpensive replacement. 3/16 polycarbonate and made a paper template of the exact glass showing and added the rubber gaskets that I found a close match at a local marine supply store. Kinda amazed the last 14 ft pc. Cut with a jig saw and tried the heat gun was useless. So it’s cold bent . Not really sure if it will stay together as it’s under pressure. Maybe I’ll put some time and heat it up. I’ll try to post a picture. M

Yeah, that is a tough job. Especially once you get up to 3/16". It's hard to get the inside hot enough without damaging the outside, and doing it a spot at a time with a heat gun adds to the misery . You might try slowly pouring boiling water over the areas that you think have the most stress on them. Anything that will help it forget that it used to be a straight sheet.

This is up an old post, but I wanted to share because I had such a problem locating a windshield for my 2005 196 fish ski dual console DC sea pro.
I broke the curved portion of my windshield on the starboard side. After contacting many potential makers of the glass in Florida, I was ready to give up. Then I discovered a very faint insignia shadow on my surviving curved windshield piece.
New Century Products Solid tempered Sgcc 1467 3/16
The original manufacturer was NCP windshields located in a small town next to Nashville. I wrote and spoke with the lead Fred and he assured me that that windshield was in stock. It was an expensive gamble, but it worked out in the end. Fred was correct, and the glass was shipped to my front door several weeks later. It was more expensive than I had hoped for but it was much cheaper than a custom option. Picking it up would have saved some money, but I'm happy to have a complete boat again.
