Am picking up a 2020 208 bay with 175 zuke. Dealer feels I don’t need trim tabs. Fish mostly in the bays but do go offshore on good days. Opinions anyone. Pro/con

I can't imagine living without trim tabs once you've had them. They not only level the boat underway, but also deflect spray and improve the ride when needed.. particularly offshore. I'd at a minimum have smart tabs, but would prefer trim tabs.

You don't need them till you need them, absolutely get them , you might not use them much but when you do you'll be glad you had them.

Get the trim tabs! If you don't get them now you'll get them later. And find a new dealer. 😉 Tabs are almost a "must have" on that hull.

No trim tabs yet, but, this 208 bay jumps up on plane really quick. The 175 zuke helps a lot. Fishes nice and also fills in nicely for recreational use. I will get trim tabs as it will help in the chop in Indian river bay. One last thing , it is fast.
