took the family out to Apalachee bay this weekend and it was cold and windy. Didn't catch 1/5 of normal trout, but we all had fun. I talked to the guy that runs the marina and he said fronts like that shut them down for about 3 days. I'm going back next weekend and I hope he is right.

Sorry you had bad luck.. My luck was the same. I don't normally fish on weekends but because of the weather and other commitments, I fished Saturday from St. Joe all the way to Panama City's East Bay and only caught 20 trout and one snot cat. (2 keeper trout). The weather isn't looking too good for next week either but I'm hoping the forecast changes.

Went out of rock landing and didn’t catch anything. My son caught an 47” black drum in skipper bay. That thing was massive. Wind was to chilly for us and boat wasn’t acting right so we cut it short and had a drink and ate at the landing. He’s 6’3” 240 , that gives you an idea of the size of drum

That thing is huge. I just thought the one I caught was big.

Both bigger than I’ve ever caught. 😂

whomper for sure. I caught a 22# black drum on a ultralight in Long Beach, MS when I was 18. I have a pic somewhere on a flash drive. I'll find it one day.
