I have a 2002 Yamaha 200 2 stroke on my 206CC. SX200TXRB Had the fuel tank drained and cleaned last year as well as all injectors and new fuel filter installed. Motor was serviced. Ran well all summer.
We did not use boat much over the winter. Last two times I took the boat out over past month the motor will bog down when I try to give it the whole shot. After I throttle back and then ease into it she runs fine. Cant find anyone work work on it here in Raleigh right now. Any low hanging fruit I should check?
Is there a way to check if there is water in fuel?

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a fuel issue but we could use a bit more info to make an educated guess: Does it have a fuel/water separator and if so, has the filter been checked or changed? Does your primer ball pump up and remain hard or is it leaking down? Is your fuel line in good shape or could it be dry rotted and leaking? If there's a fuel filter with a glass bowl under the cowling, (and there should be) check it for water or debris. If you suspect the problem is water in the fuel tank or an air leak in the fuel line, you could disconnect the fuel line at the motor and connect a portable tank to confirm it.

Check your fuel pumps on the block, one at a time loosen the mounting bolts and pump the primmer bulb and check for leaks at the pump. And your motor is a 2003. Welcome aboard.

I’ll check fuel pumps today. When I pump bulb I can hear a little air and smell fuel. Bulb does not stay hard long. Fuel lines in good shape

Thank you for the feedback. I changed the primer bulb and all has been well since. We ran to the hook at Cape Lookout Saturday and had no issues other than being a little salty.
