New to us 2006 206 CC. She has the max HP in the Yamaha 225 4 stroke. She does sit a "tad" low at the stern but as soon as I can rig her with a Minn Kota Terrova on the bow and at least 2 deep cycle batteries in the console she should balance nicely. Have not named her but the Admiral has shot down my favorite. NaCLanier. We are on Lake Lanier in north Georgia but haul to the gulf and Atlantic several times a year. Will be posting in the general forum as well as modifications as we customize her.

Nice ride! Congrats and welcome to the forum! She should scoot with that 225 on the stern.

Welcome. Cant imagine what a 225 would be like, our 2 smoke 150 does decently on our 03 206CC.

I had the exact same boat with a 150 Verado. That motor was plenty. You should scream with the 225. You'll enjoy it for sure. Looks like it's in great shape.

Nice! The admiral shot down my name suggestion as well. Still haven't settled on one.

Hi All, we are buying almost the same boat, it’s a 2006 220cc with a Merc 225. Trying to figure out what trailer to get and the trailer place is saying we are right between the two sizes but because of weight they would go with a 20’ ft trailer. Doesn’t seem right to me. Does anyone have any advice?

Nice ride. Best of luck with it. I have a 2 stroke 175 Yami on my 1998 210 CC and it runs a full 40mph with 2 passengers. Your boat will scream.
