Has any of your guys ever cut and installed access hatch in the front storage locker? I would like to install a transducer as far forward in the bilge for my front fishfinder.

I've cut a hatch in another boat to run power cables but never in the Sea Pro. Have you done any research on installing a transducer in the bow? I wanted to do the same thing but everything I was told and read said it won't work for several different reasons. The hull is too thick at the bow, because of the deadrise, the hull isn't flat enough and you need a flat surface to mount the transducer, you'll also need a shoot through the hull transducer and it has to be glassed in so that there are no air bubbles between the transducer and the hull. (I don't think that's possible and the reason most shoot through transducers are mounted in the bilge at the stern). It might work, but I doubt it and your water temperature sensor won't work either.
