I have a 2004 220WA and the captains chairs are missing some plastic bushings or something. The seats are sliding metal on metal and I found a white piece of plastic that is supposed to be in there. I didn’t see a model nbr for reference but hope someone has encountered this. I found a thread here than mentioned a brand called Wise but looking on their page the seats didn’t look the same. Any links to replacement parts?

Me Too the other day I found a white piece of plastic, about 3" long, in my scupper. these things don't last forever. I actually want to replace my Capt chairs with a leaning post or a bench.. I am looking for option on what's the best one for that. I have a 2002, 190CC.

Here's a thread from the Grady White forum with some info on how to make your own replacements and where to get replacements for Todd seat bases. The Todd ones look different than ours, so I doubt that's what you need. I tried to figure out who made those bases several years ago with no luck. I needed to replace the plastic pieces that press on the seat post to keep it from rotating and never was able to find the part. Ended up just making them with some star board and a file. Let us know if you find out anything more. www.greatgrady.com/threads/seat-glides.28019/

We need someone with 3D printing skills. But then again we need to find one of those intact to figure it out. Looking like replace the base mount is the answer or fabricate your own. I tracked down Wise Seats who said they are out of production. Also tried Springfield Group who stated the same. Measure your post diameter then find what mount will fit your seat.

Do you have any diagrams of how the plastic rail should look?
I've got a 2005 F/S seapro. Both bushings and rail sets are rotten or gone. The seat posts are 2 7/8 inches across.
The metal is healthy and I'm capable of dremeling rail and buying a bushing if there is a known fit.

you should be able to cut one out of some HDPE. Go get one of those cheapo cutting boards from walmart and cut to fit. I had the same problem years ago and abandoned the Capt. chairs for a leaning post.

I’ve yet to remove from the post. The plastic slides have a channel cut into them and there are 2 humps on one side. Will try to take a better pic and post. I’d love to play with cutting/fabricating my own but the channel makes it look a little complex. Suppose I would start with a thicker piece and router/plunge the groove and then shape the rest. Trying to find a 3D printer friend may be easier. A quick search on thingiverse turned up nothing.
