What would cause the inside of the trailer tire to wear on a single axel trailer with torsion axels? Both trailer tires had this wear on the inside of them and I did have to replace the hub and bearings on one side during my last trip.
Could it be bad bearings?

Worn bearing races? Bent axle / crossmember? Boat too heavy for trailer?

Let’s hope it is worn bearings. It makes sense, they are overdue and it cost me an entire hub.
Funny thing was right before the bearings went in my left hub I had stopped for breakfast and felt the hubs and they weren’t even warm to the touch.
New bearings and new tires for now I guess.
Last part is that the boat is borderline for a single axel trailer. I normally don’t trailer that much except for one trip each summer that is about 200 miles one way. If I ever re-trailered it would be a dual axel trailer.

loose or bad bearings can cause that.
