Does anyone know the trailer width for a 2022 228 bay boat? I'm considering purchasing one but none of the dealers in my area have one on a trailer. I need to make sure it gonna fit through my double gate.

The maximum allowed is 8'5" so it's probably that, sorry I can't be of much help. Welcome aboard.

At a previous house I had a double gate that was to narrow. Solved the problem by hinging the panel next to the gate so that side was double jointed so to speak. Added a caster wheel at the panel/gate joint and ran it on concrete pavers. In use I'd open both sides of the gate then swing the gate/panel section back further. Just be sure to get the heaviest hinges and hardware you can. Best

I don't know how wide your gates are but I'd guess you'll be okay. I have a small double gate and I suspect my trailer is as wide or wider than yours. My driveway concrete is 9' wide and there's another foot on each side of the gate where my pillars sit so I've got a good 6" of clearance on each side of the trailer. I have busted a guide pole off and knocked a gargoyle off a pillar but that was only after a few too many.
