Looking for some input on an issue I seem to be having with both the forward and rear live wells. Both overflow once they are full when the lids are shut and latched.
I’m thinking maybe the seals around the lids are bad or maybe tighten nuts on the the latches?

Good morning! I think the purpose of the overflowing live wells is to pressurize the live well which eliminate the bait from bouncing around, therefore keeping your bait alive. I got the 2018 248 and I have the same situation. Another way you can deal with that situation is by playing around with the Open/Close valve position to compensate for the pump input.

I don't have a boat with these type of livewell setups but always wondered if this would be a problem. Do the seals look to be in good shape? cracking, abnormal indentations, cuts, gouges ect. If not I would suspect what AlexP said is the answer.

Mine does the same thing. Only way to keep water drop pumping into the boat is to adjust the flow rate with the inlet control valve. New issue I'm now having is the livewells drain while on plane and water won't pump while running. Anyone have this issue?
