Hello, I was gifted a 1989 Sea Pro boat and still waiting for the title in the mail but cant seem to find any info on the boat itself like what model it is. I called a few Sea Pro dealers and parts places and even sent an email to the manufacturer to which I am waiting for a response. It sat for 5 years and we were able to clean it up pretty well and was able to bring the shine to the gelcoat with heavy compound and a buffer. I removed the console and the fuel tank to inspect the stringers and foam and everything seems to be in place and passes the hammer thud test. I plan to clean out the fuel tank and install a new sender and new hoses. I also plan to do some re-wiring. The outboard was a Force 125 and we sold it with the controls for $100 already and plan to repower it. See pics and I have a few questions. 1) There doesn't seem to be a coast guard sticker anywhere and I would like to know the Max HP rating and Person/Weight capacity. I searched online and didn't seem to get a definitive answer. Closest I saw was on iboats and it says the max hp is 90hp for a 1990 model. 2) What model is it? I posted the HIN. I measured the length and was about 208" and the outer width and was about 86". Does this mean I have a 170CC ? 3) The transom has a inverted step at the bottom and confuses me on the length I need for an outboard. In one pic you see the initial top to bottom is about 16" and the inverted step is about 6". Since they add up to 22" does this mean I need a 25" shaft outboard? Thank you for your time in helping me out!! Maybe I should just sell it with the trailer if someone wants it or needs it for parts?

Not sure if you saw this thread or not. seaproforum.proboards.com/thread/3261/specs-history-owners-manual-wiringHmm its hard to say but apparently the early 180cc was 17'6" Could that be what it is. I think seapro first model was 180cc which started around that year. And the 170cc were supposedly exactly 17' Can you tell if it has a 15 degree deadrise or a 12 degree deadrise. (probably hard to tell) It seems the 170cc had a 12 degree deadrise and the 180cc had a 15 degree deadrise. Also 170cc had an 82 inch beam and 180cc had an 89 inch beam. I think beam is kinda hard to measure because you have to measure at widest part of the boat in a straight line but based on the fact you measured approx 86 inches it is likely a 180cc As far as shaft length I am not sure as I have little knowledge on the subject but it seems after looking at various models that basically everything 180cc and below had a 20 inch shaft. web.archive.org/web/20040411210252/http://www.seaproboats.com/models/cc180.html according to this archive which I believe is from 2008 so obviously not exactly the same but 180 models at that time utilized a 20 inch shaft. looks like 140hp is max? maybe lol
