Hey,
Any of you fisherpersons members of Salt Strong?
Is there a tangible benefit? Is it worth the subscription price?

Save your money and instead, let me sell you my beach front property in Kentucky. 😄
Joking aside, I don't anything about it. It might have merit but $100 membership fee sounds like a rip off to me when they have an online store to sell gear to members.

I may be a sucker, but I decided to try it for a year. I split the subscription with my first mate.
While there is definitely a commercial aspect of gear selling going on, there's quite a bit of content available too. I've learned quite a few things about knot tying, lure presentation, boat positioning, retrieval, etc., etc. The community is large and I've also been able to benefit from posts by other local fisherpersons who fish the same areas I do. The new Smart Fishing App offers a lot too. I used it to find out where the fish were going to be and when I got there I found a herd of porpoises at every spot. Must have been accurate. Porpoises don't play around.
It's another resource and if it can save me from wasting some gasoline, I'll recover my investment quickly.
