I took the boat (deep v 239) out for the season and I noticed the a quarter sized piece of pipe came out of the hull drain when I removed the screw drain. It came from part of the pipe directly behind the screw drain. My question is:
* does that pipe go to a closed pipe system?
* does it need repair? I imagine the hull drains to that pipe anyhow but idk
Also on this general topic, should there always be some water in the hull? I ask because I drained the hull, put the screw back in, dropped the boat back in the water for a minute to adjust it on the trailer, got it back out, then still drained like a gallon from it. Should that even happen?
