I’m looking at a 2008 S/P 2100 with a 2008 Verado with 800 hours My question is. Is that to many hours on a motor of that age or should I walk away

I'd say it depends on the price tag and if the motor was used in salt or freshwater and well maintained.

About 60 hrs per year, nothing for a well maintained motor. I personally wouldn't worry about it, but I would have it checked out if possible.

If all cylinders test close to the same compression and the boat looks good and is what you want, I think I'd buy it. The price sounds about right to me. I wouldn't sell mine for that price and it's an 04 but with a newer motor.
