Iv bin thinking about buying a 2008 S/P SV2100 CC my questions are How dose the boat ride is it wet or dry How dose it handle 2-3 foot chop with a head wind Do these boats have fuel tank issues Do these boats slid when going into to a turn or they grip the water Are they prone to spider cracking Do the tea top come lose on them
I know they are wood free and the hull it’s self is solid But justa wanted to get input from actual S/P owners that have experienced with these boats

I'll answer this way: I've probably bought and sold 30 or more boats over my 71 years and never kept most more than a couple of years until I bought my SV2100. I've had it for 17 years and have no plans to sell it any time soon. It's by far the best all around bay boat I've owned. It's a dry ride in most conditions if you handle the boat correctly but you'll get wet in any boat at times and it can run in 18" of water and doesn't slide any in turns. Can't say about the t-top coming loose since that depends on who and how well it was installed but mine had been beat up in choppy and up to 6 ft seas and it's still tight. Same goes for spider cracks. They happen to the best of boats if used roughly or stored outside and uncovered. My opinion: you won't regret buying it but for the record, don't be surprised if you have to repair or replace some of the wiring.

That about sums it up. I don't think anyone could go wrong with the purchase of a Sea Pro. I haven't owned as many boats as Juan, but I know that my SV1900 is my last purchase. I inherited a 20' pontoon that is pretty comfortable for an outing on the lake with the family here in central Texas, but the Sea Pro is my fish boat. I told the wife that we might think about selling the Pro, she said absolutely not. That says it all right there.

I’m ok with rewiring the entire boat I did it to my 98 Action Craft that I’m never letting go lol the reason why I’m thinking about this boat is to fish offshore my flats boat doesn’t do so good in chop lol

Yep, I'll agree with everything said previously. Buy a SeaPro, buy a voltmeter. The hulls are solid.

You CAN fish offshore but the 2100 is a bay boat and better suited for the bay and shallower waters. If you want an offshore boat, you might consider a Walk-around or the 220 or 270 center consoles.

I just bought a 2008 sv 2100 CC and I need a replacement cooler for the leaning post. The inside measurements on the leaning post frame are 35" x 15.5" and I cannot find just the replacement cooler. I've called several places, including Sea Pro and received no help. Please advise.

It looks like those may have been discontinued but you may be able to find a used one. I also found this post from another forum about replacements for an Igloo 94: www.2coolfishing.com/threads/replace-my-94qt-igloo-boat-coolers-with-something-better.2532258/Sounds like a Yeti 75 or Rtic 65 may work as a replacement.

My seat frame looks like yours. It is an Igloo 94. I just replaced mine about 8-10 months ago. The newer ones are a little sturdier, but plastic is plastic. I buy the stainless hinges so I can put them on when the plastic ones break. The new wave coolers are great, but they are comparatively very heavy. Add ice and, possibly, some fish and you've got a real bear to wrestle.

Yep, 94qt igloo. Most popular cooler from 1992-2010. Why noone has made a same size replacement in the modern era is a mystery to me. It would sell like hotcakes.

Do tell Thanks in advance Jet In the splash well on my 220 (same as your 206) I have an access plate on the side walls, pretty sure you can get to them from there. If you don't have those then you'll have to reach under from thru the bilge, you'll probably need a midget (sorry, small person) or a skinny long armed youth.
