Hey folks, I have a 2005 206CC. One of my TTop supports have come loose at the base. My question is, what are the 4 screws on my front, right support screwed into? Wood stringer, composite stringer, solid, hollow, foam filled? Any guidance appreciated. Richman.

The answer to that question will depend on where that support is located. My quess would be it's screwed into composite decking and you'd be lucky if the screws were long enough and in the right spot to hit a stringer. If you posted a picture, someone with the same boat might be more helpful.

I'd guess it was just screwed through the deck. I'm not a professional, but I'd squirt a little epoxy in the holes, and then put some fiberglass powder mixed with epoxy in the holes and let it cure. re-drill and put screws back in. Unless you can reach underneath to put machine screws and nuts on there.

Fiberglass powder/epoxy mix sounds strong. Never seen any fiberglass powder sold. Where do find it?

There is no way to reach under the deck where the T Top is attached, it's just screwed down. I can't say if there's any extra padding there or not as I didn't pay attention while mine was off, wish I had. I'd go with freezers suggestion or use some kind of plastic insert that expands as you wind the screw in, can't remember what they're called but someone used them on a swim step some time ago.

I'd love to see the attached video, but I could not get it to open.

I'm having the same issue with my '98 190cc. All four screws backed out of one leg. Toggle bolts hit something below so won't work. Going to give this a try! Thanks!

I just repaired mine this weekend. The front, port side t-top leg was loose b/c all (4) lags bolts (basically giant wood screws) stripped out. Awful installation. With a not small amount of wiggling, reaching, cursing and getting cut up on the underside of the deck, I was able to reach far enough back with toggle bolts taped to large washers to keep them together, and through-bolt mine. I used 2.5" stainless screws w/fairly large heads. I put opaque plastic 'collars' between the screws and the t-top base to keep from scratching the painted base. And, I squirt 3M 5200 sealant under the foot of the t-top. If the weather holds we're taking the boat on a 6-hour round trip this weekend. We'll see if it holds. I may use the suggestions in this thread to fix fibers, etc., for the rear legs. There is no way to reach back to those on my 228.
