Hello all so this happened this weekend. I had the boat in the keys in the water for the week. Every morning I had to pump out a few gallons of water from the bilge. When I got home, I reversed it and filled the bilge with water. The water seems to be draining from the plastic thru hull fitting. What does this drain do?

I'm not sure on your model, but if water is coming out of the hole, it is likely just a loose hose clamp at that fitting or a cracked thru hull. At least it looks like it is easy to get to. I'd start there. If it is coming from around the thru hull, you will need to remove and re-seal it. Good luck!

Thank you. It looks easy from the outside, but I dread having to go in there. I'm not a small person.

You were right Sir. The clamps were loose and the plastic thru hull fitting was cracked. Thank you again for your help..

Glad you kept the boat above the surface. On my boat that fitting is the drain for the front storage box on the bow. I have a 190CC and I have been eyeing that fitting as one of my next projects.. I want to replace it with a Stainless or Bronze one. It's a tricky part to find because of the length 4.5" plus the barbed end, not sure what the OD is through the Transom. I researched it and found the TH-750XL. thmarinesupplies.com/products/3-4-inch-straight-thru-hull-fittings But this is also plastic. I don't want a plastic through hull below the waterline. If anyone knows where you can get a good one that matches the size in Stainless or Bronze... Let us know.

Thanks for the info on the replacement. Adding that to my project list.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 2007 SeaPro SV2100. First trip out I noticed the bilge area has a hose that runs water into the bilge. The bilge pump runs about every 10 minutes. Is this normal?

Is this normal? Welcome aboard Kevin. No that is not normal, I'm not familiar with the SV models but I'd be trying to see where that hose comes from, maybe force some water through that hose and see where it exits the boat.
