The weather was right, and the boat was ready. We left St Lucie Inlet around 7 AM and headed East in search of Tuna and Dolphin. Had my new secret tuna rig ready to try. As we approached Pushbutton Hill my new rig was slammed, in came a nice Skipjack Tuna. Reset lines and kept heading out , caught 3 Blackfin Tuna all on the same new lure, I guess it worked. My son, Richie, worked those Tuna well. Decided to head into deep water looking for some Dolphin, found some weeds built up and found small Schoolie Dolphin in 750 ft, nothing to brag about or bring home. So we decided to come back inshore and look elsewhere. All of a sudden in 175 ft a large Bull Dolphin inhaled the port rigger, green and yellow Moldcraft lure with a ballyhoo. After a good fight with some great jumps he was Gaffed and weighed, right at 40 lbs. After that we called it a day. Had some sesame seared Tuna tonight, sure was good. Total Tally: 1 Skipjack Tuna 3 Blackfin Tuna 1 40 lb Bull Dolphin several peanuts left to grow up to be bigguns...... Bloody Face And Dinner

Good report Krisis! Looks like a good time was had by all. It's always good when you get the boat as well as yourself bloodied up! Keep bringing the reports to see me thru work and deer season!
