My 175 optimax fires up but I get no power to the panel ie the lights, radio etc. I just fired it up after being down since Nov. Any suggestions/ideas would be helpful

Most people have had this happen at one time or another. Look for fuse near the batteries that power the dash, either replace or clean the contacts.

I did see several fuses near the battery so I will pop those and check them. Under the console is miserable web of wires. Thanks for that suggestion as it seems the likely place to start.

Thanks for the info. It was a fuse behind the batteries and out of sight. Everything works now on the dash. Old style glass fuses and I now have several spares on board. However, now the battery charger wants to play games. It does not light up, the fuses to both batteries are good. When it was taken off the backboard and moved around and shaken, it did light up. However, it now chooses not to do so. The batteries show 13.4 which is what the charger manual says it should be. I have plugged, unplugged, changed plug in line but to no avail. Any suggestions?
