I have a small leak somewhere on the Speedometer line and need to stop the water. Where do I tie off line ? Where can I get exploded view of motor and lines ?

I'm pretty sure you'll have to drop the lower unit to access the speedometer pickup tube at it's lowest point... which is a little hole in the lower unit close to the prop where the water enters the line and flows to the speedometer... if you're planning a water pump or impeller change anytime soon, it's an easy fix....if not... the quickest way to stop the leak would be to plug the speedometer pickup hole in the lower unit with something.. epoxy should work, but your speedometer won't work again until you remove the plug...but you don't really need it if you have a gps.

I would start at the back of the speed-o-meter and trace the line back until I found the crack. If the line is old, the whole thing is brittle and you might just want to replace it all. Pick the tubing (prob about 1/8" tubing) up where it goes through the cowl and trace it back to a fitting under the cowling. Replace from there all the way to the speedometer. Your local Yamaha dealer will have a parts catalog with microfilm expanded parts skematics you could look at if you are unable to trace it down by yourself.
