First off, I am not affiliated in any way but I figured that I would share this tidbit with you. Jim's Marine in Galena, Maryland has a small supply of new old stock seat cushions since they were once a Sea Pro dealer. They do not have much and I can tell you that they have no more cushions for a 206CC (those would now be mine). ;D
You will have to go there to look through what they have, they are in the northern part of Maryland's Eastern Shore. And, unless you have measurements, it is best to bring your boat to directly compare the old pads with the new. Calling them and asking them if they have a pad for a certain boat will not be very fruitful. It is probably best to call and tell them you are coming by to make sure someone will be there to assist. Oh yeah, bring your wallet!
Best of Luck Weaverama

Thanks for the info Weaverama. As our boats grow older and older, this is the type of info we need to keep them in tip-top shape.

The nice thing about Sea Pro is that the way they were built just about anything that needs replacing can be, and it will likely be better than OEM.

Clarification on my last post...
I wouldn't trade mine for anything else until I can get the new 36 Yellowfin I am saving for now.

They had to lower the costs some way and quality of components is one way they chose. p.s. I want to go out with you when you get your new Yellowfin!

Speaking with some experience....
As a former Sea Fox owner, I am very happy with the build quality of my Sea Pro. I guess it's all about where you come from.

Had boats for 45 of my 61 years alive and can honestly say I have never owned one that required the hull be completely rebuilt (stringers and all) like my Sea Pro has. Add to that the fact that almost all other 270's and many smaller ones have required the same rebuilds. This was due to poor workmanship and inferior materials.
Now that Marine-Pro did the work it is as sound as any boat out there but I could have died if the hull split while I was underway 120 miles offshore. That really doesn't instill confidence in a manufacturer. I want as much as anyone for folks to love their Sea Pro boats, and they should, but I can't agree with them being of high build quality.

slightlydangerous, I know we have had this conversation before but ALL boat manufacturors have products fail from time to time, even massively (Hull delaminations and the like). I saw where a Shearwater hull delaminated a few years back in the Mississippi sound and put the two guys in the water. It happens to the best. That being said Sea Pro is a great, economical, safe boat that due to lower prices, will allow you to purchase alot more boat for your money. It will provide 95% of the fishermen/boaters out there with MANY years of trouble free boating. For the other 5% like you and me that run flat out and go where and when we probably shouldn't, your gonna have some problems. Sea Pro stood behind their product and took care of my problem and I believe they did for you too. What more do you want? Contrary to what politicians will have you believe, You can't drink champaigne on a beer budget....

My 270ex has provided my and my family safe and comfortable journeys, I have continouly put 135 miles in a day fishing trip with twins only burning 101gals. I have taken on 5 to 8ft swells with the boat and its got us home!!. Is there changes that i would like most diffenetly, but for the money I dont believe you will find a dryer boat out there.
Just a side note. Jimmys marine in Galena MD. is great. For the small issue that I have had they have been outstanding!!

Too bad they are so far from me. I need a replacement cushion for the seat in front of the console on my 220.

Take some pictures of the cushion, if you still have it, with a tape measure laying nearby for scale and send them to Jim's via email or however they advise. They should be willing to take a look in the trailer to see if they can match it up. I remember seeing something in there that was close to my 206 cushion but we guessed it might have been for a 220. They have a website: www.jims-marine.com/Good luck Weaverama
