If you ever need to remove water spots from your electronics, you have to try this stuff... It not only removes water sposts, it removes rust and shines just about anything,, and it's non abrasive and easy to use... I had been searching for something that could be used on electronics without damaging the screen and read about this stuff on the internet..ordered a bottle of the liquid (it comes in both liquid and paste)... it works wonders where nothing else worked.... and it shined up the mag wheels on my motorcycle too: Just thought I'd share the good experience: Before: After:

I like Garmin better! Haven't had a disagreement with you in a while Juan. ;D Thanks for the info. I've got those spots on most of my electronics. Glad to find out about something that will clean them off.

That stuff is the best, I have used it for years. Just remember , you are removing the anti glare coating off the screen. I did this on my Raymarine screen, it is so much better now, the anti glare really was not needed in the first place.

I'll second the Garmin (Garmin 2010C chart plotter here with Garmin black box sounder mounted under the console attached to an Airmar transducer. I split the screen GPS Chart one side & running data or fish on the other !!!)

Also you might try getting a spray bottle of Rainex at your friendly automotive supply store.

OK, I admit it, I like Garmin better too but both of my Garmins are old and obsolete with black and white screens....and I picked up this Lowrance color gps / sonar combination with all the accessories for $200. bucks the other day...other than the water spots (which are gone now) it's like new. (and it's still got the last guy's gps numbers in it ;D) Gary.. the only comment I've got about the game is...OUCH!! it was a good defensive game but there were some really bad calls by both the refs and the Bama coaches.

Don't feel bad, SC got beat by the hawgs ... but my St. Louis Cardinals are World Champions (again)! ;D They hung on on and battled to the end (like the South Carolina NCAA champion baseball team last year). Wonder how that polish works on Lexan?

From the label: Use on: Brass, Copper, Silverplate, Sterling Silver, Chrome, Stainless Steel, Nickel, Bronze, Solid Gold, Aluminum, Annodized Aluminum, Beryllium, Magnesium, Platinum, Pewter, Factory Hot Gun Bluing, Painted Surfaces, Formica®, Cultured Marble, Corian®, Glass, Plexiglas®, Plastics, Fiberglass, Eisenglass, and Armatel®
It doesn't mention lexan, but I would guess it would work isn't it similiar to plexiglas?

Did some work installing repaired seatback supports on my SV1700 yesterday morning and my Garnmin was runnig fine when I was playing around the helm. Went down last night to cover the boat & turned on the Garmin to check something and all I got was a blank lighted screen..........WHOOPS... I'm going to do some checking tonight. I brought it home and will set it up and try to run it on my desk with a 12v power supply..................

It had all his numbers in it.. only problem is he fishes Pensacola and I fish Panama City...so I told him he left the numbers in there and then I did the right thing and deleted them. Tried it out today while flounder fishing... and it works great... my luck usually doesn't run like that.
