I am the second owner of a great 2004 Sea Pro SV2300, with 225 Yamaha 4 stroke - 427 hours (same boat/motor pairing since new) and new features like new batteries, battery switch, Garmin 498c chart plotter, older Garmin fish finder, new stereo and speakers, marine radio, jack plate, trolling motor, dual batteries and battery charger, T-top with launchers, and leaning post with launchers, raw water wash-down, 3 live wells, and excellent overall condition. No trailer but have access to one for delivery (if close). I'll have pics to add in the next week or so, but was looking for input on how much you all might think I should list this for.
I never wanted to sell this boat, but age old bummer- family issues with wife's ex-husband/kids/lawyers-yuck. Have to let go of the best boat I have ever owned.
Appreciate the insight and experience, great site with great info, I'll list it here first if anyone is interested. I'm south of Tampa.
thank you.

I moved your thread to boats for sale where it might get more views from people looking to buy. What year is your boat? Price around for comparable year and model boats for a competitive price. Do not under value your boat unless you want it to move real fast. You can always lower your asking price but you can't raise it once in a negotiation. Be sure and post some photo's ASAP. Post the boat on multiple boating forums. Good Luck with the sale.

Having a sending unit that was improperly installed - reinstalled. Then will detail it again and post some new photos. (have not figured out pic posting yet- do I have to use photobucket or a hosting site??) can I just upload from my desktop- I can make them smaller if that was an issue.
thanks, B.C.

What are you asking for it? Good question...I think the bossman said that listing a price is a forum rule / requirement...

sorry for delay, getting my boat back from service update (and sending unit reset) and will have photos next week. I am also having the sacrificial anodes in the block's cooling system (all 4 and new seals), and new plugs. This brings every system up to date as requested by Yamaha. I also have computer readout with rpm ranges for the 425 hours. Not avoiding a price post, I had originally posted my first question to get some feedback on what my boat might be worth. with all the features and low hours on original motor (425 hours) I was seeing prices on other boats that might put mine at or about $22,000.00 (without a trailer). I will post photos and a list of features and details next week. Thanks for the comments and input. I'll confirm a price then too.

I'm in the Tampa area looking for a Sea Pro SV2100, but I'd be curious to see the pictures and price when you get a chance to post them.

sorry for the gap, I was out of town all last week on family vacation, I should have waited to post this info, was really looking for input on pricing for similar boats with features and info listed in previous posts before actually posting for sale. The boat is still available, and will be back in the water this week, I'll have new photos then. I have not shown this locally or on the web yet, was waiting to get it all current with service dialed in and buffed up. Should have it ready by end of this week. Thanks to all for your patience.

Still have my SV 2300, and have not posted because I still have the same problem with fuel delivery. I am in Southwest Florida, (South Shore area) and have an ongoing problem with water in my fuel, causing engine shut down with alarm warning. I have had this problem for almost a year, with a local repair group replacing/repairing on-board fuel filters, in line fuel filters, repairs to remove and clear (water vapor separator, fuel filter, and injectors - several times). A previous repair had a poor refit of a sending unit under the console in order to get pump into tank- this caused more water to get into tank from top surface. the current repair group called in an outside tank repair group to drain and repair the poor sending unit seal. fixed that.
Then it was a new fuel pick - requiring a larger hole in the deck in front of the bait well, then fuel lines, then new pump ball. its literally brand new from the filler cap to the cylinders. One thing after another for what to me- is the same ongoing problem.
I use marina gas, no ethanol.
now I have the same water in fuel problem again. I recently lost (just noticed on July 4th) my vent cap/clamshell on port side just below gunnel, near fuel fill. could the heavy rain in last weeks tropical storm/rain have driven enough rain water into the open (clam shell cover missing) vent hole to cause a half a cup of water in my in-line Racor water fuel separator?
Obviously getting more than annoyed- over $2200.00 in repairs for roughly the same problem over the last year. Not to mention the two new holes in my deck, and one in my console facing (to access one the new deck holes) i didn't want.
Any thoughts?

I just noticed my "karma" rating being a -9. Sorry for the gap in my posts, or any misunderstanding as to my joining this blog at the onset. As I stated at the very beginning in my first post, I was interested to learn how much my boat might be worth as I was considering selling it due to unforseen family expense issues. But with that question, I was moved to the "boats for sale Section".
I apologize if members were anticipating my being ready to sell, as it was really a research question. I have not used photo bucket or other posting portals and have not looked into that yet. I have no intention of selling a boat that has an ongoing problem. I hope to figure out my water/fuel issues and have it running as soon as possible. If I am still unable to keep it - i will, as stated, post it here first.
thanks in advance for any positive feedback on my fuel issues.

I don't even know what the karma thing means, but we're glad to have you here. I would suggest starting a new thread in another section (or getting a moderator to move this one and edit out your comment about being for sale) as you are most likely not getting the right people seeing it here in the "for sale" section. Sorry that I can't help with your problem. Anything I said would be a guess and it sounds like you've had enough of it already.

Sure sounded like a boat for sale to me and SimpleMan moved it to the sale section (where it should have been posted imo) in an effort to help you sell it... I don't know who or why you got a negative Karma but Karma and a dollar with buy you a cup of coffee.
