Not a Sea Pro but a Mako
Was able to put a couple more hours on the motor today (Total now 7 hours).
It was 2 of us (big guys) and a bunch of inshore fishing gear in the boat. I could not get over 5200 RPMs on the motor. I saw from a post on The Hull Truth, that when running you should be able to see the cavational plate while on plane. When I looked at the plate, it looked to be about an inch or 2 below the water.
The pro on the boat is a 3 blade 13 x 17.
Would you raise the motor?

I do believe you should raise the motor a bit ... don't know if you are familiar with it or not but here is a link to a forum for folks with E-ETC www.etecownersgroup.com/ motors where you could get recommendations from folks who specialize in E-TEC's Jim
