What is your top end with that boat?

Originally Top End was 50mph, but the last couple years it is 47-48mph depending on water conditions. Based on GPS mph reading

Thats interesting. I have the same setup minus the FICHT (175JVXSS) and mine does 40MPH max. Do you happen to know your prop numbers?

Ok, then I should definitely look into it a bit. Max RPM is only 5300 on mine, and 42mph is the fastest Ive ever seen on the GPS. Now, I do have two 31 series batteries in the bow compartment, a 101lb thrust trolling motor, 2 29 series batteries in the CC, and always run on a full tank, but that shouldnt be that big of a difference.
The previous owner used the boat for wakeboarding, and I remember him saying he changed the prop for a better hole shot. This was fine for me because the hole shot was great, and with the addition of large trim tabs, I had a great hole shot in the skinny coastal NC waters.... Now that Im in CA and doing long offshore runs, speed and fuel efficiency would be preferred.

My set up is about the same and I always keep the tank full and the boat loaded with gear and mine runs about 42 with a Suzuki 150... but I'm turning 6,000 rpms so depending on what the factory recommended rpms at WOT are for your motor, you should be able to pick up a few mph with a smaller pitched prop.

Yours is a bit wider too Rick. That would effect performance I would think (slow you down a bit everything else being equal). 5300 rpm is what's slowing pbguy down. That's a bit low in my opinion if you are wanting the most out of your top end capability.
