New member here. I have a 2002 Sea pro 190 CC with a Johnson 115. I've had it for a few years and am going to do a big cleanup for the upcoming season. I have a lot of questions, so please expect several posts! Right now, the larger questions are how do you get the transom seat backs off? are there any intros on fiberglass & gelcoat repair? primarily cosmetic stuff, filling in screwholes and scratches in the gel coat

Welcome to the forum... Ask as many questions as you like. The members will be happy to share their knowledge and experience.. We all have / had questions. Fiberglass and gelcoat repairs depend on the extent of damage you plan to fix... for nicks and dings, West Marine sells a gelcoat repair kit that lets you mix and match your gelcoat color. I've used a two part epoxy and then painted the spot to match the gelcoat.. Not perfect, but very close.

Welcome, I'll be doing a thread with some fiberglass and maybe gelcoat repair on a hatch soon. Should be fun as I haven't a clue what I'm doing LOL, but will have some outside assistance.

Welcome aboard. What are these rear seat backs you speak of? Mine has jump seats just forward of the live wells in back but there are no backs on them. All other seat cushions snap off.

Welcome. Post lots of pictures! Postimage.org is your friend there. Big tube of 5200 is great for filling in screw holes and any time you back out a screw push some in before putting the screw back in. A open tube of 3M's 5200 will last years if plugged with a long nail and stored in the freezer(tube takes about 15 in the sun to thaw). There are great books on fiberglass and gel coat work, read up, watch vidio on you tube, talk with glass shop. Lot of auto body shop guys do weekend work. I am a devotay of the west system. Cost to get started is a bit more but worth it. Search tool in the upper right corner is great way to see if it has been covered before on this forum. You will get great satisfaction doing your own work on the boat. www.westsystem.com/
