Thank you for the warm welcome. The boat currently lives at Hidden Harbor Marina in Sarasota FL. I live in Massachusetts but am originally from Tampa and bought her while visiting family. The boat had one owner before me, was always kept indoors, and only had 350 total hours on the motor. I couldn't resist buying it.

I agree with Juan and want to replace the cooler seat with a leaning post as soon as i can find one for sale in the area. I've only taken it out a couple of times but the current seat seems low and disconnected with the boat controls. The other addition will be a Trolling motor on the bow. I think I tracked the wires from the bow plug back to the CC but was wondering of these boats were build to charge a house battery. Everything on the boat currently runs back my cranking battery and switch box on the transom.

No problems with adding a house battery. I'd just get some time on her and see how she rides before deciding where you want to put your battery weight. You will also likely be adding one or two trolling motor batteries unless you plan to use your house battery for that.

Check out the cooler seat riser kit from martinmarinedesign. Guy is in hardeeville SC. He offers an 8" riser and 11" riser. Alot cheaper than a leaning post and you have the cooler still and storage underneath. I got mine in the mail today. Hope to get it installed tomorrow and I will post pictures. It uses the same mounting holes. A buddy has the same kit for the carolima skiff. Worth looking at.

I’m sure my wife would agree with you, it’s by far the most comfortable seat on the boat. Maybe that riser that greenheadrocker talked about is the best of both worlds
