It's always good to get a good deal. I'm guessing it's a 2 stroke since it says automixing on the cowling?

I had that same model motor on a 18' Prosport flats boat. I loved it. Great power to weight ratio.

Simple Man that is the main reason I bought was the power to weight ratio. And the good price I got it for! Hoping it will work well with my 190CC Sea Pro that I will be putting it on! Hope to do install next week and then to a mechanic for carbs and water pump. Or just do it myself!

I had great service from mine. Seemed like I had an issue with it vapor locking sometimes. Had to pump the bulb to get it rolling again. I changed the fuel pump diagrams out and fixed that. I disconnected the oil injection because I was nervous about it and the age of the motor. It never left me stranded though and I caught a lot of fish out of that boat. Wish I still had it.

Simple man those are words of encouragement! I am really looking forward to using this engine. I got the cowl off right now and I fixing it up some. The aluminum portion of it was all flaky. I put some paint stripper on it and am putting some fairing compound on it to fill in the small potted spots. Then prime it up and paint it. I am going to fix and paint the cowl this summer as well. It has one small crack that I will fix up and repaint ye whole thing nd new stickers for it! Did you do your own maintenance on your engine?

I did all my maintenance but I never had to do much. What I did work on was fairly straight forward. Good luck!

Thanks Simple Man. I have the water pump on order already. So I will do that once it gets here. And I will probably go ahead and do the carbs myself and save a few hundred $$$ in labor and parts. Is that for something for he boat
