I will be making a double trip this time. 12 days out in open area up off of Long Island. Then into Pt. Pleasant,NJ for a few days. Then back out to the closed area off of NJ for about 14000 lbs of scallops and then Home!!!

I was wrong. It's 2 gallons. Florida The daily limit is two gallons of whole bay scallops in shell, or one pint of bay scallop meat per person; maximum of 10 gallons of whole bay scallops in shell, or half a gallon bay scallop meat per vessel. Now you see why your sea scallops are so much in demand round here.

Thanks Juan! Yeah I have been busy shucking lots and lots of scallops!!! My plan to go into to Pt Pleasant, Nj has changed. I have to go home and take care of some business. And by that I mean I need to fire one of my guys and find a replacement. So best if I fire him at homeport rather than somewhere else. Because then I have to pay to get him home and then trying to find a replacement for him in another port is not easy. But I am definitely going to Pt Pleasant this year. I love that little town!!!
