2 of the Bands on my rod holder that mount in the hull has broken bands that hold the rods. Any idea where to get the correct size and cost? 2004 SeaPro 206

When you say "bands", are you talking about the rubber inserts that fit into the chrome/stainless steel gunnel rod holders?

I bought a length of bungee cord from Ace Hardware and used that, only downside is removing the rod holders to replace the straps.

Can someone post a picture? I don't have any straps or bands on any rod holders and I can't picture what they are.

Runninlate, I replaced mine with some bungee off of ebay, but I can't find it now. I think the originals were black and white checkered 3/16 or 4 mm. Jfuglio had a good idea to use a stainless steel rod through the top holes so he didn't have to remove the rod locker to replace them. seaproforum.proboards.com/thread/2290/gunwale-rod-storage-removal

Thanks Phil. Did you just tie the ends behind the holder? Also, mine are rubber with no cloth like on a regular bungle cord.
Phil let me know when you are going out again and maybe we can meet-up. The boat is on the Wilmington River.

Actually I fond a connector thing (soft metal not sure if aluminium or what) which the cord fit in nicely, used that and crimped it with a hammer. worked a treat, I'll swing by there and find out what it's called.
