Nope, not me.. and IMO green eggs are nice but way over priced. I have the Acorn which costs half as much and does the same thing the green egg does. I love it. My smoker is one of those electric smokers. It works great too but I haven't used it in years. I need to get it out of the barn and smoke something.

Forgot about this post. After borrowing a buddies screw drive"feed"pellet smoker with thermostat and timer, tested 6 whole chickens a bunch of brats and two pork butts, ended up purchasing a large green egg. Another buddy is a dealer , so I got his two year old demo unit and cart for below his cost of the grill alone. Like it a lot and still on the up side of the learning curve on its use.

You should try making pizza in it. I don't have the pizza tray but a buddy has one for his green egg and makes a shrimp pizza that will make you slap your mama.

Hi there, I know this thread has been dead for some time, but I think you might help. I wanna buy a small grill for my boat and I've heard that Smoke Hollow has some good stuff (like this). Does anyone here use it? Or I would be happy if you could recommend something.

Although the one you posted states it's "stainless steel" it doesn't say which grade, could make a difference.

As far as smokers go. There is a lot of different pellet smokers. Just food for thought. I just picked up a Masterbuilt 560 gravity feed smoker.. it uses charcoal and it has really impressed me.. from first lite off it only takes 12 mins to get to 700 degrees F. This is a Venison hind quarter I did for Super Bowl Sunday

Who all keeps a pellet smoker on their boat? I just bought a GMG Trek (smallest model with DC power) at an auction and don’t know if I want to give up the space and smoke up my brand new canvas. I love smoking at home with my mid sized GMG Daniel Boone but question how practical a pellet smoker on a boat is. Your thoughts? Weight 63 LBS Height 24 in. Width 32 in. Depth 16 in.
