Something is missing on this 2006 SV1900.

Guard rails? Some like that look. I prefer the rails myself

Guard rails. Noticed all the new bay boats leave them off. Makes my ‘06 look like a ‘17 don’t ya think? 😜 Going to install a couple more flush mounted rod holders and some popup cleats or fender popups.

I have to admit, it does look new but I think it looks naked without the rails. You'll need those cleats. I like the chrome rails and use em for a quick tie up point and a place to mount clamp on rod holders....not to mention they keep my butt from slipping off the gunnel when I clean the T-top.

I like my rails but I like the look of your boat without them too. I think the recessed and angled guard rails they put on the '08 models are the best of booth worlds.

What did you fill the screw holes with? For the time being to save time, 5200. I also have some MarineTex. But after letting it dry, it takes 10 minutes to wet sand down flat. I could spend a whole day working on those 16 holes. I installed 2 flush mount 30 degree holders on the gunnel, about 4 feet in front of the rear ones. Plenty of room in the gunnels for them. I was even able to turn them out a little so they do not just go straight back. May go ahead and install a few more.
