The photos below show a plastic wire management fitting. It has adhesive on the back exposed by peeling off the plastic backing sheet; the cable is installed in the cradle, then the cradle is snapped shut. I need about 4-5 more of these to install in my anchor locker to support my navigation lighting cable which currently hangs in the locker and keeps getting yanked when I pull out the anchor. This is the last fitting I have and unfortunately, I did not keep the packaging and I cannot remember where I bought it! I tried looking in Lowe's, Home Depot and a search on the 'net- no luck. Is anyone familiar with these fittings and know where they can be purchased? Also, I was in the marine supply store inquiring about replacement navigation light lenses and LED light bulbs. I was considering replacing the bulbs with LED's while I replace the fogged lenses. The salesman told me you cannot replace conventional bulbs in navigation lights with LED's unless the housing was designed for LED bulbs and USCG approved due to the diode placement on the bulbs. This somewhat makes sense but I have never heard or read this before. Is anyone familiar with this and can offer some advice?

I replaced all the stock bulbs with LEDs on both my Sea Pro and the bass boat I had. Made them a lot brighter and no one ever told me they weren't legal.

I've heard of this before, something to do with the light spectrum difference between an LED and an incandescent bulb. Apparently an led will make the green and red lens shine a slightly different colour. I just replaced my front nav light with a new led one from attwood ( from walmart).

Just google self-adhesive cable clamps. Very similar stuff comes up.

leds are polarity sensitive meaning if it doesn't work reverse the polarity +- going to the bulb . LEDs tend to be brighter then incandescents so don't think the CG's would notice or care.

I switched out my incandescent bulbs for LED's a couple years ago without any problems. From what I remember, you can search for an LED replacement based on the incandescent bulb number. Sounds like your shop is trying to up-sell you. Did they also say you need to replace the navigation light fluid? 😜 I used cable tie mounts to route some cables in my console: Cable Tie Mounts, Square, (100PK) (1" Use for 18lb-50lb Cable Ties, Black) www.amazon.com/dp/B079GDTNGT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uW5SBbQQHTG32The things you posted a picture of look like they may work their way open when subjected to the vibrations and banging around of a boat.
