On one the other forums I am on, we had a meet and greet in Myrtle Beach. It was at a private gun range. Some members brought a few of their guns that are not found on the retail store shelfs. I have shot some full autos before but never a MP5. There was maybe 3 or 4 there. There was also a couple S&W ARs that were fully auto (22 coversion) One of the members (who is a class 3 dealer) had an impossible gun to find. It was the "case MP5 that James Bond used in one of his movies. he loaded a 20-round clip, closed the briefcase, went to the range and fired the clip with the handle on the briefcase. opened the case and all 20 spent rounds were inside the case. After that, the owner of the range brought out his B&M 50 Cal (Google it) and we shot a couple rounds. The bullets that I shot were custom milled out a solid brass stock.
If that was not enough, we went to the 300-yard range and sitting on the 2 benches was 2 Barrett’s 50s. One was a bolt action with a muzzle break and the other was a semi-auto with a can on the end. Got to shoot both. We were shooting at a plate of steel across the pond and was using explosive rounds. Then they hit the steel you couple see the explosion.
Cannot wait until next year. This year almost did not happen if the storm went farther east.

They were 9 MM and the ARs were 5.56 with a coversion kit to 22 LR. Before we left, they took the coversion kits out of the AR and ran them full autos with 5.56s.

Sweet. Looks like you had everything covered from 0 to over a mile away.
