OK, the boat came wired for a trolling motor, including the plug in the bow, but I don't see any way to mount a trolling motor that is not interfering with the rails and the anchor locker. Anyone ever figured this out?

Yep. I mounted a stainless plate starboard of the anchor locker and mounted the TM to it. It was about an inch too high for the the tm to clear under the rail so I heated it up with a torch at the first downposts and raised it an inch and a half by prying upward with a 2x6. It's not perfect, but it works. It would not work with a self deploying tm however. They do make hinges that would allow you to lift the rail, but I didn't want to compromise the sturdiness of the bow rail.

Thanks for the answer. Pretty much what I thought, requires rail modification of some type.
