happy 4th to you back and everybody else. M daughter and son in law just closed yesterday on their first house together, my 2 yr old granddaughter is psyched. We will be grilling drinking and enjoying their happiness tomorrow. Don't drink to many black and tans Juan! beerchug

I didn't see this until today (the 5th!) But a fifth is often better than a fourth. Happy belated fourth to all. Confucius say" Man who drink fifth on fourth may not go forth on fifth.  |

I was down in Simpleman land last week. Inshore fishing was tough, but caught a limit of 8 snapper on the 4th, along with a pair of 26 and 28" redfish and a mess of spanish mackerel. I'm not sure if it's because I went a month later than normal, or if it's just off. It seems the shrimp boats are very close to shore this year and I think they didn't help the fishing.

I wish you would have hollered at me. The bite has been slow, plenty of fish on the sonar just slow biting. I guess they are tired of getting hit in the head with lead weights!
