Hi Gents,
Can anyone please advise whether the 2007 SV1900CC was built to "Level floatation" or "Basic Flotation" standard?
I need to establish documentation on the Level flotation in accordance with ABYC-8H so as I can get my boat approved by a surveyor to start my fishing business.
I have sent several emails to various Sea Pro companies in America but will little to no joy, with none of them keeping records of earlier models.
A few people have suggested to contact Jimmy Hancock, but I have no idea on how to even get his information/email address to ask some questions?
Having my boat recognised as to having basic level flotation would help me immensely. This will save a lot of hassles in regards to time and money in getting another surveyor drawing up boat plans etc, and any unnecessary cutting into the vessel.
I appreciate any advice and assistance in helping with my enquiries. The build plate only gives model and horsepower of each vessel, I am in need of flotation build details please.
Kindest Regards,
Jamie Ware

Hi Jamie, I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure if anyone here does, they would chime in. I wish we would attract someone that used to work for the old sea pro brand that could answer these type questions, but they haven't shown up yet.

Hi Freezerfiller,
Thanks for your reply, hoping that someone does, as I am loving this style of boat and not wanting to change it.
Kind Regards,
Jamie

Call the numbers Juan provided and have your info in front of you / hull # and such . Get names of who you talk to and who they recommend talking to. Follow up with emails to those people. Can't count the times a earlier conversation caused a memory to pop latter or talking with amigos someone else remembers something. This isn'tCoast Guard requiring this for a six pack license , is this the X@#$ insurance company or a state agency?
