I ask two things of people before scheduling to show anything I am selling. Do you have the $ and have you spoken to your spouse? I am honest with my description and don’t play the price so we can haggle stupidly. Four people looked at the boat yesterday . Two had to talk with the wife, one just wanted to think about it ( that’s cool) ., and the other wants it butt waiting on the he bank for loan... day killed that didn’t need to if they just had their &@$? . Think it might be a age thing. Showing it to a retired guy this evening, he already said if he liked the looks he show his bank roll on contingent of a sea trial. Putting two rods on the boat...

Good luck. Sounds like the retired guy may be the buyer. In my experiences, anyone who has to talk to the spouse, think about it, or any other lame excuse was never planning to buy. The ones that really piss me off are the ones that want you to meet them somewhere and then they don't show up.

Sea trial passed deposit in hand . Meeting at bank to let them check and count cash then notarize trailer registration and title. Think I going to start asking age also. No more under 30’s - they can’t be trusted... I remember when I purchased cars with cash and a handshake. Now I wear a gun...

Yeah, it is hard to put up with tire kickers, but some may see something they don't like and rather than tell you, shift the blame on the wife's approval. Others are just trying to learn the market and are a waste of time.

BTW, I hope you still hang around even after the sale of your boat. I notice you are now Mosquito 14?
