The moment I start engine the engine hot light stays on. A long steady alarm. no beeps. Left running for a few minutes, waters not hot, heads are not hot and steady stream. Not sure where to start. Please Help

Sounds like a sensor problem.

I agree. Your temp sending unit(s) is(are) either bad or the electrical circuit has a short. I can't remember if it has alarm on when circuit is closed or open. I'd look for any loose connections or shorted wires first. If the 90 is a V4, you probably have a sending unit on each head and can compare the ohms to ground to determine if you have a bad one since it would be unlikely that both would go bad at the same time. If I had to bet $5, you have a loose wire or short somewhere in that circuit. turn it on and bump your fist on the key switch, near the gauge that is beeping, the shifter and wiggle the wire at the temp sensors and see if you can get the alarm to go off temporarily. It might help you isolate the source of the problem.

Great advice above. Sounds like a sensor issue. Still, nothing to ignore.
If I'm seeing a solid stream. and can lay the back of my hand comfortably on the top cylinder, I usually just stuff some Kleenex into the alarm to get it to leave me alone until I can research. Poppet has been issue, as has thermostat. Repeated flushing back and forth helped once, as impeller had sucked up some sand.
