I habe a 2018 259 Sea Pro. Both rear hatches take on water. I drain them and water just returns.. Can't keep them dry. I've tried every possible valve position. Any advice or is that the way they were built.

Welcome to the forum. I have that problem with my forward and aft livewells. If they're plumbed as livewells and you have the inlet valves in the off position and you're sure they aren't leaking, then I suspect the source of water is either rain entering from the hatch lid or water entering from the drain at the bottom of the well when the boat is at rest. I had to build a a screw-in plug to fit the drain hole.

Its simple to tell, you will only see one single though hull water port on the outside of the boat normally located above the drain plug. Things that will help you out. When doe's this happen? Is the boat on a trailer (rain), slip or under way? Are these live wells? Fish wells, or just boxes with drains? I found this post and it sounds like your issue. Definitely the manifold. link

Similar concerns here--I'd like to make sure the boxes are kept dry. Standard one-inch screw-in drain plugs fit the inside drain fitting, but am still figuring out how to insert exterior plugs that won't get protrude too much from the hull.
How did you fashion your plugs, Juan? Drop a picture if possible!

My rear port livewell fills up sometimes on long runs, sometimes it doesn't. I think if the thru hull drain gets below the waterline, it can take on water from underneath. Never have seen the starboard side do it.
