Just bought a 2003 Sea Pro 195fs with Yamaha 150 2 stroke.
Came with full tank of fuel. 1st time boat owner. I found the reservoir for oil in motor but I don't think thats where I fill it. Is there a 2nd reservoir somewhere?
Also I filled it with fuel for the 1st time overfilled it fuel shot out. Wiped it up. Got to launch went to plug it fuel coming out. Something I didn't even think to check was if fuel gauge worked assumed it was full tank bc gauge was on full. Has stayed on full.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I didn't even realize these boats aren't even made any longer so no manuals available. I did find manual for outboard though.
I ran the boat for hours the 2nd day I got it. Runs great. Had a blast until I noticed fuel gauge didn't budge from full at all. Then filled it. So trying to figure out why fuel came out drain and if there is another reservoir to fill oil other than the reservoir in the motor.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum and Congrats on the Sea Pro purchase. I don't know where it's located on a 195fs but there should be a remote oil fill tank somewhere near the stern of the boat... Check in the aft compartments and under or behind any seats. A stuck fuel gauge is a common problem but there shouldn't be any sign of fuel in the bilge and fuel certainly shouldn't run out of the plug. Fuel will (and is supposed to) shoot out of the overflow valve if you overfill the tank or try to fill it too quickly but any fuel discharged from the overflow should go either outside the boat or back into the fuel fill line and not into the bilge. Fuel in the bilge could be caused by one or more issues but the most common is either a bad gasket under the fuel sending unit on top of the fuel tank or a loose fuel line connection. Fuel or fumes in bilge is dangerous and could cause a fire so you should try to locate and fix the leak before using the boat. I'd start with the fuel gauge gasket. The stuck fuel gauge could be either the gauge, the sending unit or the wiring from the gauge to the sending unit but often the fuel sending unit's float will stick and cause the reading on the fuel gauge to stick in one spot. I'd locate and fix the fuel leak problem first and then see if the gauge moves after running some fuel out of the tank.

Welcome jdbccb and congratulations on your purchase.
Ditto everything Juan said. I'd add that I wouldn't put any more gas in that thing or run it for a minute until I found the remote oil tank and made sure it is both full and functional. You'll know if it is sending oil because the reservoir under the motor hood will remain full.
Gas is food and oil is blood. If you run out of food you'll be hungry. If you run out of blood you'll be dead.

My oil reservoir is in the upper box near the anchor light. They aren't small so it shouldn't be that hard to find. If you still have a issue follow the hose from the tank on the engine. Just a note, when you fill that reservoir up make sure that cap is tight any air leak can cause issues. Oh, not all boats have a reservoir but a 150hp motor should.
