I'd hate to know what it costs today. Do you still have an issue, or have you found it?

I haven’t replaced the fuel sensor yet but there no leakage from the tank in the bilge area completely water and gas free.
I have had the boat out 4 times since to burn fuel down in order to replace the sensor
I still feel the gas pump robbed me

Since it's not known if it's the original tank or sender, it is possible that someone replaced the sender with a "universal sender" It may just need adjustment to read correctly. I'd start by pulling the sender and test the ohms pretending its empty, 1/2 full, and full and see if they correspond to the ohms the sender is supposed to read.

I do trust you'll go to a different purveyor of petrol this time.
Do you still have receipt from the fill that started your voyage of discovery here? If the second pump proves that the first pump cheated you, I'd take it to the Board of Weights and Measures (or whoever certifies gas pumps in your state)and tell my story. You might not get your money back, but wouldn't it be sweet if they fined the nefarious operator who screwed you?
