Started working on changing these out today. FYI this was for a 2003 SV 1900 old cables confirmed at 16’.
Cables are run but binnacle won’t go forward. This has happened before but I’m not seeing any binding with the backing plate off. When it happened on the water it wouldn’t engage into gear but now it’ll engage but there’s no throttle it’s like it’s stuck. Reverse has throttle but nothing forward.
I keep thinking I’ve crossed something but it all looks correct and I labeled everything before I started to be sure. Any ideas?
