Jeff; Got a new idea for you to suggest if they have not thought about it already. Since these are fishing boats and most bay boats have trolling motors why not make it easier to install a motor. There is member on the site that just installed a new high end trolling motor and had to cut an access port to install it. That does not need to be the case. "BTW I think there should be a comment to new Sea Pro boats coming out. Create a way for owners to install trolling motors where they can get access to put a washer and lock nut without having to cut a hole in your boat for an access plate. Or, drill larger hole than is needed to fit toggles bolts or other mounting hardware not using a thru bolt system. As a matter of fact I am copying this to other thread." We at the Sea Pro Forum collectively demand immediate action on this topic, or at least acknowledgement you thought about it.
Straight from da boss man:
"Problem solved! You can reach the under side of the deck where trolling motor mounts. And the bay boats, which are the boats people want trolling motors on, will come with a trolling motor panel and a completely finished off battery compartment with room for trolling motor charger."
Hope that helps.

As far as any improvements, just three. Wiring, waterproof the hatches and better access to the raw-water pump. Straight from the top:
"We’re not using cheap plastic hatches anywhere. All compartment access will be fiberglass lids, finished on both sides and dry storage is dry and “wet” boxes are wet. (i.e. live wells and fish boxes) We contracted an electrical engineer to help custom design our new wire harnesses and all connectors will be sealed plug and play.
As for access to batteries, live well and wash down pumps, we have designed every model with a “yacht style” or lazaret compartment that is very easily accessible within the boat and completely finished off inside. The only thing located in the bilge area is the bilge pump. There is ample access to that as well, although the need to ever replace a bilge pump should be extremely rare. I truly believe we have spared no expense in the design and construction of the new Sea Pro. I do appreciate the feedback so keep it coming."
Hope that answers your concerns.

So seaproboats, when are we going to get the low down on what the initial offering will be? Spy pics, etc..
OK, so I just got off a call with Da Boss Man and talked him into letting me "leak" some inside info to you guys. Here is the initial lineup we plan to introduce by mid-May (Lord willing!)
The initial line up will consist of seven models.
Three bay boats: 20’ bay, 22’ bay, 24’ bay
Four blue water (deep V) models: 21’CC, 23’CC, 25’CC, 27’CC.

I'm just offering opinions. I don't mean anything personal by it, just another point of view. You know what they say about a$$holes and opinions. Bottom line is I want this company to be successful and already feel an attachment to it.

I'm pretty pumped about the new offerings and how they will look. I like that yall are going big too. I will be keeping a close eye on the 21CC.

That sounds like a great offering! I can't wait to see those pics. You do have a smartphone right? just pretend you are texting in the apparel order while you are standing in front of the 21cc.. And yes, the new wave has been done before lets let that sleeping dog lie!

Jeff, Just as a point of interest..... Probably one of the first and most asked questions on this forum is: "Where can I find an owner / operator's manual for my boat?" If it's not already in the works, the new Sea Pro would be a huge step ahead if there were a model specific manual that came with each boat this time around.

The only thing I would change on my boat is the battery location. Otherwise I love yet!!!

Hey Jeff. My name is Brett and I am from Louisiana. I have a 2003 SV2100 with a 150 Yamaha that I purchased new in June of '03. Other than a nice array of stress cracks in the liner, the boat has been trouble free for most all of the 11-1/2 years I have owned it. Affordability was the reason I purchased the boat and if and when I ever decide to purchase another affordability will again be the deciding factor. I hope that will be the driving force behind the new lines. Looking forward to see what you guys have up your sleeves!!
