Do any of you guys notice standing water in battery compartment and in the same location on port side. I'm pretty sure it's being splashed up from the bilge area. I see no drain holes or anything to allow it to drain. Foam in these location is saturated. It might be comming from livewell splashing. I need to seal it. But it just sits there.

I am not sure of the layout of your particular model but look real closely for drainage holes that were glassed over at the factory.

This is also the case with my 270CC. It is a glassed-in area with no drains that I could find. My solution was pretty simple but may or may not work on yours. I placed a chamois inside the area that floods and ran it over the top and then down into the bilge area at the transom. With the transom area being lower than the area where the water pools the chamois will wick it out. So far has worked quite well.

so ive been searching for drainage hole. I ripped out some of the foam (which was wet anyway) and under it i found this. Their are no drainage holes but their is the little arae that is raised up. Its propably about 3" long by 1" wide by 1" tall. Im wondering if this is a glass over drain. Im sorry about the pic. I had to get really close so as all the cables and wires were not in the way. The photo is from directly above facing to the bow. Hopefully you can figure it out.

Check this link out: Anyone ever seen this problem
It should be helpful. I'm actually having the same problem with drainage in the rear starboard and port compartments on my 2006 sv2100. I'm pretty certain the bilge side of both the starboard and port drains on my boat are glassed over as described in that link. For example, I can find the start of the drain in the battery compartment, but I can't find where it exits in the bilge. And unfortunately... This puts me at an impasse... Since I can't tell where they're supposed to exit in the bilge, I don't know where to drill to clear them.

I don't suppose anyone with an sv bay boat and functioning port/starboard compartment drains would be willing to post pics of their exit locations in the bilge? It would be a huge help to both the original poster and me

The pictures are from a 206CC but you might get lucky and find the same blocked holes in the SV2100.

Do you have that little raised areas as well in the corner. My port side has the drain punched out in the bilge area. Ill post a pic for ya. Updated. That little raised area in the back inside corner of my battery compartment, in my first pic, is actually the drain pipe glass over. Took a screwdriver and punched through the front of it and there it was. A pvc pipe. The drain pipe runs from that corner inside the battery compartment straight down to the inside corner of the bilge. Had to punch the bilge end open as well. Not hard. Was able to punch it by hand with a screw diver and then open it up. I will post a pic of both ends.

Yep - I was able to find the start of the drain in the battery compartment no problem (mine also has a plastic tube inside). It's the bilge end of the pipe I can't find (because it's glassed over). Is it right up against the transom in the bilge like it was in the photos of weaverama's 206cc?
I'd love to see a pic of drain exit location in your sv bilge if you don't mind. Thanks!

The compartments in my '08 are finished out so pics of them won't help you. My '06 held water like you are describing too. I noticed it standing when I picked the boat up cause they had just finished washing it. I made them fix it. I think they drilled another hole through the transom strut that's right there.

SupDen. One thing you might want to try if you have room is take a coat hanger and straighten it. Cut one end off at an sharp angle, and feed it down the pipe from the battery compartment end. Tighten it in a cordless drill and drill through to find the other end. You wont be able to go through anyhting solid but where they glassed over the hole is not thick at all. I did make the hole in the bilge larger. Picture is just to show where it is located. Hope this helps.

Thanks darcyheron! This is very helpful - much appreciated. I went ahead and sharpened the end of a coat hanger like you suggested and tried to poke it thru by hand, but no dice. I'll try it with a cordless drill next. If that doesn't work, I'll probably go pick up a flexible drill extension (something like this: Flexible drill extension) and give that a shot. I'll let ya know how it works out. Thanks again!

Just to follow up - and hopefully help someone in the future - I was able to finally locate and open up the bilge end of the drains this afternoon using the flexible drill extension linked in my previous post.
First - I snaked the flexible extension with a small bit thru the drain from the battery compartment and drilled thru the glass covering the end into the bilge compartment. This allowed me to confirm exactly where the drain exit was located in the bilge. They ended up being right next to the transom just like weaverama's and darcyheron's pics.
Next, also using the flexible drill extension, I opened up the drains using larger drill bits from the bilge side. Boom! Problem solved!
Thanks everyone for your help and pictures! Much appreciated!

Have you tried putting low pressure air hose to and listen where or if it's coming out somewhere. I didn't know where some drains went so I put a shop vac over entry point and listened to find exit. May or May not help.
